About
Hi there! I’m William.
- 🌊 I’m currently working on Triton GPU kernels at AMD.
- 🔭 AI Safety seems plausibly the most impactful problem of our time. See Cotra’s Without Specific Countermeasures.
- 🎓 My background is in applied machine learning and machine learning interpretability.
- ⚡ Fun fact: I prefer tabs over spaces for indentation.
The Feynman Technique stipulates that a nice way to learn stuff is to see if you can explain it to someone else in simple language. Over the course of the past few months, I’ve been writing posts to myself to supplement my ML knowledge. Hill Climbing is an effort to clean up and formalize these posts.
